Post-run/post-bad week, beer:
Chapman Crafted Beer - Orange, California - Searching for WiFi
Double IPA with Galaxy, Simcoe, and Citra hops.
Today’s run didn’t go too well. Ran two miles and just wasn’t feeling it after that. Walked for another 25 minutes after that. Got my excercise for the day, but my body was definitely ready to end this busy week.
Three Simmzy’s brews at The Brickwood and feelin’ fine. Also, Festival of Lights in downtown Riverside. Bonus!
4.13 miles. 🏃♂️
I'm going to try to do another 4 mile run today. Yesterday's run went surprisingly well, and I think I'm up for it again. Thought for sure that my legs would be shot today, but they're just fine. A little freaky. 🏃
I went for a run today. I run everyday, usually on the treadmill, but decided to run outside since it was cloudy and cool (71°F) outside. It was one of my best runs since I started in October. 🏃
I’ve come to the conclusion that third party fitness apps for Apple Watch just aren’t as accurate as the stock activity trackers from Apple. Strava said I burned 900 calories during my 4mi run. That’s just not accurate. 🏃♂️
Another day, another dollar. Slow week at work only due to setbacks not caused by me. Thankful for the short week.
Two cats and a dog that wishes she was a cat.
This is weird. Micro.blog, that is. Weird in a way that makes me feel like I used to feel when signing up for a new social media platform, specifically Twitter.
I didn’t know anyone on Twitter when I signed up back in 2008. I had to force myself to interact with people that I just decided to follow out of the blue or for whatever random reason.
Anyway, this feels like that. Hoping to see more friends here soon.
Testing this out. This is a test of the micro.blog feed from my site, johnholzer.com. Also, here’s my dog.
